Hi Francesca,
There are so many fantastic places to eat at WDW! The table-service restaurants are extremely popular & book up fast. You can make breakfast, lunch & dinner reservations up to 180 days prior to your visit & I'd highly recommend that you do that as soon as your window to book opens up. You can book on-line or call 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463) to make reservations. For some locations, you may be required to use a major credit card to guarantee your reservation when booking. Reservations must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance or a cancellation fee may be incurred. Click
here for an overview of the restaurants.
Make sure you keep a list of all the dates, times & confirmation numbers of your dining reservations. If you have specific questions about dining locations or need some suggestions, please feel free to ask us. If for some reason you are unable to get a reservation that you want - keep trying - someone may cancel. Be as flexible as your schedule will allow when trying to get reservations. I've gotten lucky a few times & walked up without a reservation at non-peak eating times & have gotten in.
MK is the 1st stop on the resort monorail line from the GF so you're looking at about a 5 minute ride - how convenient is that! When returning from the MK on the monorail, GF is the 3rd stop on the line but you should make it back in around 15 minutes once you board the monorail.
You can also travel to MK from the GF by boat. The boat launch is on the Seven Seas Lagoon side of the resort near Narcoossee's. The boat ride is around 15 minutes & offers a spectacular view as you approach the Magic Kingdom.
The more you plan your trip ahead of time, the more time you'll spend enjoying the magic! Please let us know if you have any other questions along the way. Have an awesome trip!
