Jose from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Scenario: If at 7am I book a LL for 10am, then I arrive at 9am at the park (2 hours already since 1st booking) I can book another one for 10:30am, now I have 2 LL simultaneously, when I use the first one I can book another one right away?

Howdy, Jose, and welcome to planDisney! You're smack dab in the middle of the magic at Walt Disney World Resort, and I hope your visit is off to a rip-roaring start. It sounds like you're planning to purchase Disney Genie+ service, so let's talk about booking those Lightning Lane entrances!

The first step is to purchase the service, which you can do anytime after midnight on the day you plan to use it. I typically set my alarm for 6:45 AM to give myself time to log in to my mobile app and purchase the service for my party well before 7:00 AM. At the top of the hour, I choose my first attraction, and I may or may not roll over for a few extra minutes of sleep!

In your scenario, you booked your first attraction with a return window starting at 10:00 AM. You can book your second as soon as you scan in at that first attraction. Just so you know, a few Lightning Lane entrances will have two scan points, so you will wait until after the second to book your next one.

If a theme park opens at 9:00 AM and your first return time is later in the day, you'll be eligible to book your second Lightning Lane two hours after the park opens. In your scenario, that would be at 11:00 AM. Since you'll probably already be scanned in at the first attraction before 11:00 AM, the park opening rule won't apply. But if your first Lightning Lane return window is at noon, you could book your second two hours after the regular opening time.

Depending on the available times and the attractions you choose, you could have more than one Lightning Lane booked simultaneously. I once had four rides booked for later in the day! Lightning Lane enthusiasts call this "stacking." You have to wait two hours to book an attraction if you haven't scanned into the most recent one, so it all depends on what you choose.

It's simpler than it sounds, Jose! Once you've spent a day or two using Disney Genie+ service, it will become second nature. My tip is to keep an eye on the Tip Board in your mobile app. Near the top, you'll see a banner letting you know when you'll be eligible to book your next attraction. You'll have it down pat in no time!

My final tip is to bring a portable phone charger. You can purchase one at kiosks throughout the theme parks, and the best part is that you can switch out the charger at any kiosk once it's depleted...at no additional charge! My phone battery struggled a bit when I was learning to use Disney Genie+ service, so this was a lifesaver.

Jose, I'm sending pixie dust and battery power so your visit is a hum-dinger! Please stop by planDisney anytime, partner!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
