Hi Jane,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! Your vacation is so soon, how exciting!
Doing scavenger hunts or family competitions is such a fun thing to do and interesting way to see the Theme Parks. The hidden Mickey hunt is a great start! There are countless hidden Mickey’s around the
Walt Disney World Resort so that might need to be a scavenger hunt that lasts the entire vacation, maybe see who can get the most by the end of the trip?
Another fun competition could be to see who finds all the
50th Anniversary statues in a Park first. For example, have a race to find all the statues in
Magic Kingdom Park. Some are easier to find than others! Maybe have your family take pictures with each statue, that way there’s a competition, but you also have the memories as well!
If you’re looking for a bit of Christmas fun, you could also do a race to see who can finish the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays Holiday Cookie Stroll first. You and your guests will just purchase 5 cookies from any of the World Showcase locations listed
here. Once a guest has gathered the 5 cookies and 5 stamps in their Festival Passport, the first one to bring it to Holiday Sweets & Treats is the winner. Keep in mind anyone who gets 5 stamps will be able to get a special treat from that booth as well. The best part, you get to eat the cookies!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful and gives you a few ideas for your vacation. If you have any last minute planning questions in the meantime,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
