Where to scan my photo at attraction

Hey there, Carolyn, and welcome to planDisney! There is no better way to memorialize all of the fun you’re having on your Disney Vacation than through pictures!

Carolyn, many of Walt Disney World’s most beloved attractions have impromptu photoshoots built right into the ride! They always seem to catch you at the most inopportune times too. Like when you’re speeding away from a Yeti, blasting off in the dark, and rockin’ it out throughout the city streets. One of the most interesting parts of these attractions is standing at the photo stand near the attraction exit waiting to see how your picture turned out. It never ceases to amaze me just how terrified my family can look when they are riding something for the 37th time, but alas - we have pictures from years past that we still laugh about. Once you exit an attraction that offers Disney PhotoPass, there will be photo preview walls where you can check out your picture. You will then tap your park admission card, mobile device with Magic Mobile Pass, or MagicBand to link the photos to your account. PG Pro tip: You can purchase Disney’s Memory Maker for easy access and unlimited downloads of your photos from your vacation!

Good or bad, I always make sure to tap my MagicBand to the touchpoint to save all of our shots. After all, you never know when I will need to use the photo of my wife with her eyes crossed for a ransom - or to just hold it over her head!

Happy trip-planning and photo-taking, Carolyn! If you have any more questions, be sure to stop back by the panel and ask.

You’ve got a friend in me,
