Do you have to scan your pass prior to rides so they download to your photo pass? Or do you have to go get a lanyard to scan? We have 5 people in our group and want to make sure everyone can get pictures.

Only a few more sleeps before you wake up in the Most Magical Place on Earth! Abby, that's a countdown dreams are made of. I'm glad you stopped by planDisney to make sure you can snap up all those picture-perfect moments on your trip.

You have a few options for PhotoPass to capture your attraction photos: a MagicBand+, Disney Magic Mobile or a Key to the World card (the plastic card you can use to access your tickets to enter a theme park).

While immersed in the magic, attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, TRON Lightcycle / Run, and Slinky Dog Dash automagically connect your photos to your account. For this to work like magic, you must have your MagicBand+, Key to the World Card or cell phone with you on the ride. (Be sure to store them safely). And if you use Disney MagicMobile, you need to turn on your Bluetooth and enable permissions for the device to connect.

A few attractions, like Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, have television screens as you exit the ride. When your photo appears, tap your MagicBand+, cell phone or physical card to the scanner to link the images to your account.

With PhotoPass, you can share photos with up to 20 connected Family & Friends. This means you should see each Haunted Mansion picture of your family and friends, even if you hang with grim, grinning ghosts in separate Doom Buggies.

You can purchase Memory Maker to download all your linked photos. If you add this before your Walt Disney World Resort trip, you can enjoy a special pre-arrival rate. With Memory Maker, you can also download pictures taken by PhotoPass photographers with iconic backdrops, like Cinderella Castle and Spaceship Earth. You can also use the My Disney Experience app to find PhotoPass locations. Under the "map pin" icon on the app, you can scroll to "PhotoPass" at the top to see all locations on the map. You can also add filters to find places with Magic Shots, including Classic, Super Zoom, and Tiny World Magic Shots. If one person in your group has Memory Maker, you can download and share the photos with everyone.

Abby, I hope this helps you zoom in on the fun! If we can help with anything else, please shoot us a question at planDisney
