I got my scan cards to enter disney in the mail. Does it matter which person in my party gets the ticket???

Hey there, thanks for stopping by planDisney Cindy. Receiving mail for your trip is usually an exciting day for me. It usually means my trip is around the corner. Let's get you ready for this trip to see the mouse.

Depending on where your tickets have come from they may already be linked to each person in your party. If you do not have the My Disney Experience App yet you should download it immediately. Every visit should have this App as a guide in the parks and a tool for your planning before you arrive. If your party would like to download the App as well you can then link them to your plans by visiting the "Family & Friends List." Once you have them all linked you can then visit the "Tickets and Passes" section and add your tickets. You will also want to make sure you visit the Theme Park Reservations for each day and park you plan to visit. This part is very important to make sure you have a spot in the park of your choice. If you decide not to use the App you can use the hard tickets or "Key to the World" for each individual. Once they are used at the parks they will be tied to the individual who used them. If they are multi-day tickets be sure to keep them organized for each person. The only other reason you may have to make sure the tickets are distributed properly is if there are tickets for anyone who is between the ages of 3-9 years old. Anyone 10 and up is the same ticket type.

Before you visit you should consider getting to know the My Disney Experience App. It is my favorite way to know keep up with what's going on during my visit. This tool gives you wait times for attractions, gives you start times for shows and fireworks, and where to find characters to take pictures with. My favorite part of the App is easily Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. You are able to check on your smartphone what food locations are near you while waiting for an attraction. Then once you have your order ready you can place the order right before you board, and in most cases, you will be walking off your attraction to arrive for your food to be ready. This is a pro-tip and time-saver extraordinaire.

If you have any other questions about those tickets you can always call Walt Disney World and speak with someone. Swing by anytime you have other planning tips and we will be happy to help.

    See ya real soon,
