I see that is says that a vaccine card or COVID test is recommended. I’m just wondering if it’s “required” would that be a reason we are not allowed into Disney?

    Hi, Yanira!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for asking a question about your visit to the Disneyland Resort. It sounds like you’ll be traveling to the Happiest Place on Earth soon!

The resort asks that all visitors follow the recommendations that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has given for those who visit theme parks this summer, in addition to any current State travel advisories. The State of California does currently recommend that all Guests of the Disneyland Resort be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to traveling, although this is not required for theme park entry. However, please remember that the Disneyland Resort does currently require that all Guests ages 2 and up wear a face covering in indoor spaces (which includes many attractions and enclosed transportation vehicles) while visiting, regardless of vaccination status. Face coverings are optional in outdoor areas at this time.

I hope this answers your question, Yanira, and that your vacation is filled with adventures and pixie-dusted moments! Please stop by again if you have any other planning questions before you leave home.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
