Hello Bianca!
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for dropping by with your question!
Did you hear the exciting news?! The Disneyland Resort theme parks will
resume operations on April 30th! The official announcement did state that initially attendance will be limited to residents of the state of California. But, we don’t have any official information on the forms of identification the Disneyland Resort will require as proof of residency.
I can make an educated guess based on special ticket offers in the past. The Southern California Resident Ticket was a special ticket offer that required proof of Southern California residency in order to gain theme park entry. According to fellow Panelist and military wife,
Kristen N., the Disneyland Resort typically requires a government-issued picture ID that shows your California residency. In lieu of this, she recommends bringing your Military ID, in addition to a utility bill, if you happen to live off-base. If you live on-base, you can bring your Military ID, in addition to your Orders, or your most recent LES reflecting your Current Duty Station. More information about the ID requirements related to the
Disneyland Resort theme park reopening will be available at a later date. Make sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news about the Disneyland Resort. This includes any announcements about how California residents will verify residency and make theme park reservations.
I hope this information helps. Please come back with any additional questions. We’re all EARs!
