Hi there! So when it says we can make dining reservations 60 days out, does that mean from Our check in date through the end of our vacation? Or do I have to go on every day for 5 days to get a reservation each day?

    Hi Christine!

    Welcome to planDisney!

I am excited to see that you are planning to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth during the Christmas season.  I love that time of year at Walt Disney World Resort, and can't wait to return to see all the magical decorations at all the Disney Resort hotels and theme parks and at Disney Springs.  Also, I thoroughly recommend the Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs - it's well worth a visit to see all the differently-themed trees. Gorgeous!

It's always a day to celebrate when it's time to make our dining reservations!  Even more now that it's 60 days in advance (instead of 180 days).  And good news!  If you have a Disney Resort hotel reservation, you can make all your dining reservations for the length of your stay, up to 10 days.  Reservations can be made online or by using your My Disney Experience mobile app.  Please have your choices ready at exactly 60 days in advance, as Table-Service Restaurants are operating at a reduced capacity, and therefore the availability for reservations is currently also reduced.  If you are not successful in securing your favourite locations, keep trying, as cancellations occur all the time, even very close to the date as Guests often change their plans once they are actually on vacation.

Also, please remember that Quick-Service locations are encouraging Guests to use mobile ordering which can be accessed via your My Disney Experience mobile app - you will select your menu items, make your payment and advise the restaurant when you are ready to collect your food.  Mobile ordering is also now available at select Table-Service restaurants.

During the phased re-opening of Walt Disney World, we may need a little more considered and careful planning, but our vacations to Walt Disney World Resort can still be a magical experience.  Please read this information about Returning to a World of Magic, and keep watching the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official updates.

Please come back and ask as many questions as you like!  We are always happy to help you plan your vacation.
