It says you can book attractions three days in advance with a lightning multi pass. The chat bot tells me I can only schedule once inside the park. Can I book times for attractions in advance of entering the park with a lightning lane multi pass?

Hey there, hi there, Cynthia! Welcome! We are so glad you stopped by today to ask us a question about your upcoming visit.

I am excited to hear that you have purchased Lightning Lane Multi Pass for your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth. This is a great way to maximize your time by enjoying quicker access to participating attractions so there's more time for other magic! I'm sorry you were getting mixed messages on how to begin planning your day with Multi Pass at Disneyland. This happens because Multi Pass works differently at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. At Walt Disney World, you can book your first few Lightning Lanes three or seven days in advance depending on if you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel.  However, at Disneyland, you do not make your first selection until you have entered the park for the day. So, have your Disneyland app ready, and as soon as you are through the ticket turnstile, you make your first selection.

You'll be arriving the same day that Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival kicks off, so I hope you will be enjoying the parks for multiple days or with a park hopper! Bring your appetite and enjoy bites that represent California cuisine as well as beer, wine, and other beverages crafted by California makers. You can get a preview of these items by checking out the Foodie Guide.

Cynthia, thanks so much for stopping by! See you real soon!

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
