It says on the annual pass info page that the photopass service is included. Is this the same as Memory Maker? If not, what is the difference between photopass and Memory Maker?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Laura!

One of my favorite products and services offered at the Walt Disney World Resort is Memory Maker and Disney’s PhotoPass. It’s the easiest way to get the entire family in the picture! As an Annual Passholder, I love getting to see my kids grow up at Disney through the picture-perfect memories Disney PhotoPass captures, which are included with my AP. Especially the ride pictures. My son and I have made it our thing to try and get the silliest shots on our favorite rides. Our latest Splash Mountain picture is hysterical! He’s pretty proud of our silliness. And, honestly, I am too!

Laura, when you purchase a Disney Gold (FL residents only), Platinum, and Platinum Plus Annual Pass, you get the benefit of Disney PhotoPass downloads. Just like with Memory Maker, you can edit, download, and print your photos from every visit. A slight difference from Memory Maker, but an advantageous one at that, is that you get to keep your pictures for the full year your Annual Pass is active.

Make sure you ask for Magic Shots during your visits. Nothing like a Disney character photo-bomb to bring a smile to your face! Oh, and be on the lookout for the attraction videos. You can download those as well! Be sure to keep your MagicBands on your when you ride so they can magically appear in your My Disney Experience account.

Have a magical day! And don’t forget to say CHEESE!
