Hi Matthew!
Thanks for your question. I can truly say that part of the magical experience at
Disney World is as much about the shopping as it is the attractions, parades, and performances. I could go so far as to say that shopping (and getting those timeless souvenirs) is an attraction in its own right! :-)
My best recommendation is if you feel like not carrying your shopping bags around the
theme parks, to go ahead and
rent a locker for the day. They are sizable and typically located near the entrance of each theme park. Another alternative: If you're staying at a Disney resort, you can always ask them to ship your purchased items to the resort of which you're staying, of which they would be sent to the Concierge desk of your resort for pick up. If you decide to do this, however, allow them up to 48-hours to get it to your resort. We've used this convenient amenity in the past, but in some cases, it may take a little extra time to get there. If you're in the theme park and your check-out date is, say, the next morning, it would be easier to keep the items in tow or rent a locker instead as it may not get back to your resort in time.
May you have the time of your life at
Disney World!
Terry
