Guardians of the Galaxy at Night

    So at say 5:00am I can purchase genie plus, and just like a resort guest make lightning lane reservations at 7:00am.. But the virutal que and individual lightning lanes are not available until park open? We are going to epcot on 3/25/23.Guardians possible?

    Thanks for asking me your question at planDisney!

    Let me clear a few items and times up for you. This way you can get all your planning ready, and you can increase your chances of helping the Guardians save the galaxy!

    Genie+ Purchase Time
    You can purchase Genie+ starting at 12:01 AM on the actual day of use. But 5 am will be fine too! This won’t really play into getting a ride time for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, but it does help with so many other attractions!

    Virtual Queue
    As for the Virtual Queue for Guardians of the Galaxy, the first queue is at 7:00 am, and there will be a follow-up opportunity at 1:00 pm. There is no preferential selection time for someone staying at a Disney Resort hotel, so 7 am is the time for everyone.

    Individual Lightning Lanes
    As for an Individual Lightning Lane purchase, that begins at 7 am for guests of Disney Resort hotels, or at park opening for all other guests.

    BONUS TIP
    You do not have to be in the park for the 7 am virtual queue, but you do have to be in EPCOT to participate in the 1 pm queue. On evenings with the Extended Evening Theme Park hours there can be an added virtual queue opportunity at 6 pm as well.

    BOTTOM LINE
    You can try both the virtual queue for Guardians of the Galaxy, as well as the Individual Lightning Lane purchase in the morning at 7 am. If neither works out for you that morning, don’t worry. You can try the virtual queue again in the afternoon. I have had more than once where I was successful in the afternoon virtual queue selection for an attraction. Good luck!
