Can you all say which month July or October would be the best to visit WDW?

Hi, Rachel,   Let me start by saying I would go to Disney during any time of the year!  However, if given the choice between July and October, I prefer October.

One thing I like better about October is the weather.  Although it can still get hot in the Fall, it is much nicer than traveling in the Summer.    In July, the average daily high temperature is 92 degrees;  In October, the average high temperature is 84 degrees.  Also, you will have more rain in July (rainfall in July is on average 7.8 inches for the month, for October it is 2.8 inches for the month.)

The crowd levels are also much better in October.  In July, you will have all the families taking advantage of their kids being off from school.  While you will still have vacationing families in October, it is less than the summer.

I also love how the parks are decorated for Halloween, and the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a lot of fun!

I hope you find the perfect time of year to travel to Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
