They say fastpass is not available but when I was at the park yesterday people had fast passes....I’ll be going Thursday and Friday and need to know how to get fastpass

    Welcome to planDisney, Tracyann!

I’m glad you stopped by with your question for us today.

Three chEARs for you! There's nothing more magical than being at The Most Magical Place on Earth! Spending two more days at Walt Disney World Resort will give you plenty of time to try some of the different Mickey-shaped treats and experience many of the attractions!

Tracyann, due to the phased reopening, there are some services and amenities that are currently not being offered; the FastPass+ service is one of them. We are looking forward to when this service becomes available again, but when you see Guests going through the FastPass+ queue, it could be for several other reasons.

Depending on the Guest’s situation, it could be that they are returning for the Rider Switch Service. This service is extremely helpful as it allows Guests to take turns waiting with little Mouseketeers that are unable to ride an attraction. This feature allows one adult to wait with the non-rider while the rest of the party enjoys the attraction. When the riders return to their party, the waiting adult can board the attraction through the FastPass+ queue without having to wait in the regular queue.

Another reason could be the Guest has a return time through the Disability Access Service. This service helps Guests who may be unable to wait in a traditional queue environment, allowing them a return time for an attraction. With this, the Guest may return during that window and are able to go through the FastPass+ queue. Guests using Disney’s VIP Tour Services are also given access to the queue as it is a guided tour that has been customized to the party.

I know that lines can get long; the best way I like to make the most of my park time is by getting to the Theme Parks bright and early. Arrive first thing in the morning to experience as many attractions as you can. During midday when it tends to get more crowded, my family and I like to eat a nice and leisurely meal or head back to our Disney Resorts Collection hotel for a swim and then head back to the Theme Park in the evening when crowds have dispersed more.

I hope you have an enchanting time, Tracyann!
