Hiya, Melissa!
Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney. How exciting that you are thinking of taking advantage of your Disney Vacation Membership to expand your horizons to a new uniquely themed Disney Resort. Melissa, there are so many immersive Resorts at Walt Disney World Resort and each one has its own special magic. One of the best benefits of Disney Vacation Club is the flexibility to enjoy Disney your own way.
Melissa, yes, you certainly can use available Disney Vacation Club Points to convert what you need to book a Value Resort. As long as you are using Vacation Points in your Use Year or have them banked from the previous year or are borrowing ahead, you can certainly use them this way. If you'd like to see the Points Chart for the Disney Resort Hotels, including the Value Resorts,
they are available here.
To find them in the future, simply log into the
Disney Vacation Club website, scroll to Destinations on the top menu and select
Disney Resorts Near & Far, and then select "View All Resorts." You will see the Points Chart for all of the Disney Resorts, including the Value Resorts. When you find the Resort you would like, you can check the Points Cost for specific dates and room types. You can also see even more information if you click
2023 Points Chart.Once you find the Resort you like, you can call
DVC Member Services who can assist you with checking availability and making the booking for you. The Cast Members are like Fairy Godmothers who with a Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo, they'll make magic happen for you!
I hope this helps you, Melissa! If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, stop back and see me here and I'll be so happy to help you.
Magically Yours,
Keri
