Which would you say is better, with small children between 8 - 4 years old and a family of 9 visiting, a villa or three rooms? We would preferr to do the budget but if it's better then we may splurge.

    Hi Rhonda,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I appreciate that you are considering the best type of accommodation for your traveling party. Let me tell you which choice I would make and why.

I suggest that you book a villa for your party. I truly enjoy the comforts of home that come in a villa. For example, villas have washers and dryers inside of the villa, and also a full kitchen! I think that both of these also help with the budget. I love the convenience of being able to do laundry while on vacation, and it means I can pack less and carry-on luggage, and thus save on checked baggage fees on airlines. Having a full kitchen allows my family to cook and eat some of our meals in our villa, which can help to save on food cost. In a two-bedroom villa, you will have two bedrooms as well as a living area for sleeping, so you will have space to separate groups and get the rest that is needed for the little ones.

There are many locations where your party of nine will fit in a two-bedroom villa. Let me offer you some of my favorites. For an option that tends to be more budget-conscious, consider Disney's Old Key West Resort. This resort has a laid-back feel, and the villas here are spacious! For more of a splurge, consider Disney's BoardWalk Villas. This resort is located on the hustle and bustle of Disney's BoardWalk, and you can walk or take a boat to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Rhonda. Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions!
