Hi - I saw an update to the Star Wars Dark Side info and the 10k and halfie will now end in Epcot. If I stay at an Epcot area resort, would I be able to walk back to it at the end of the races? Thanks!

    Hi Allison!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I recently noticed the change to the Star Wars Half Marathon - The Dark Side, too!  Very exciting!

One of the reasons that I like to stay at an Epcot area resort during race weekends is exactly for that.  I like to be able to leisurely stroll back to my room while stopping for a snack, or three, on my way.

I will point out that in order to walk back to your Epcot area resort, you do have to enter Epcot at the front and exit it at the International Gateway entrance/exit.  That will lead you to the resorts.  This means you need valid theme park admission to Epcot for that day.  I have an Annual Pass, so it's not an issue.  But, if you have a single-day ticket or non-park hopper, you may consider that before walking back.  The runDisney buses will also be taking runners and spectators back to those resorts.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
