I saw that in 2023 there was a two dog limit at fort wilderness campground is that still true or can we bring our 3 dogs with us in our personal camper?

    Howdy,

Thanks for dropping by planDisney with this question about your pups. Christopher, as a dog lover it always is sad leaving my dog for a week with Pluto.

Fort Wilderness Campsites are a long-standing tradition for a lot of families who revisit every summer. Coming here is almost like going to summer camp without the camp counselors. With so many activities that children and adults can share together, you’ll be sure to stay busy at this resort. If you have never had the experience of a lifetime at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. You may want to make some advanced dining reservations for this hoot of a dinner show. From the hilarious, dancing, singing and corny jokes, you will leave with a full stomach and tears in your eyes.

Whether you are staying in one of the cabins, pop up camper, or RV the limit for pets is still two. Unfortunately, bringing the three dogs would not be allowed. I personally wouldn’t want to split this trio up so you may need to leave them behind. If you did decide to bring two of the three dogs, they will be welcomed as long as you adhere to the conditions of the Pet Friendly Policy that can be found on the Fort Wilderness homepage.

If these lucky dogs do end up visiting with you, there are pet relief areas located on property as well as the Waggin’ Trails Dog Park for them to enjoy. This park is located near campground Loop 300 and 500, and is a fenced in area that is open from dusk till dawn for your canines to enjoy.
