Saw your tweet about Kids' Discovery Club. What is it and what ages would like it?

    Hi Virginia,

The Kids' Discovery Club is at Disney's Animal Kingdom. There are 6 stops throughout the park, one in Africa, Dinoland, Camp Minnie-Mickey, Discovery Island, Rafiki's Planet Watch and Asia. At each stop, kids participate in a short activity about animals and conservation awareness. After they successfully complete the station, the Cast Member at that location will stamp their Kids' Discovery Club Membership Card with a special stamp unique to that stop.

After they have collected all six club stamps and take the Kids' Discovery Club pledge, they get a special Rafiki Ya Wanyama Stamp. Kids can do these in any order. Just look for the "K" in a red box symbol on your Animal Kingdom Guide Map to find the locations. This is a great activity for kids and it quickly became a quest for my boys to get all of their stamps.

Here is a video of one our own Moms with her kids at the Kids' Discovery Club.  I think this is geared towards kids 5 - 10 years old but its something that all of us can learn from and appreciate.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-)
