I saw something about kids being a Chef at Boma, which my kids would love!! I wanted to get more details about it. Do you guys know anything about that or how I would get more info? Thanks!! You guys are wonderful!!!

This is the Walt Disney World Jr. Chef Program.

Children are selected at random to take a quick lesson from a chef as well as to prepare a dessert for their family. This is done in the dining room as children are not permitted in the kitchen area.

After participating, kids are given a photo and certificate signed by the Chef.

This is one of those magical moments at WDW that can happen to anyone but you will have to be in the right place at the right time to be selected. However, it doesn't hurt to ask your server when you arrive!

Note that the Jr. Chef Program at Epcot's The Land Pavilion ended in April 2008. It will be interesting to see if the other Jr. Chef opportunities will also be ending.
