Hiya Jennifer,
Welcome back to planDisney! We are always honored when magical folks such as yourself come back and visit us for help planning their vacations.
Jennifer, as someone whose preferred workout must include magic, I have, of course, done the Power Walking Workout at
Disney California Adventure Park, so I’m excited to chat about it with you. This experience, offered by the
Tenaya Stone Spa inside the
Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, is definitely a must-do. Guests who sign up are guided through Disney California Adventure by a Cast Member before the park opens around 6:30 am, for a roughly 2-mile, 45-minute workout (must be able to keep a 15-18-minute pace). During which you will power walk (and learn how to do it correctly), stretch, and learn about some incredible facts about the theme park. The experience is not offered every morning, but if you are interested, you can sign up and check availability through the Tenaya Stone Spa website. One last thing, Jennifer: I know you mentioned power walking through
Disneyland Park, and I wanted to let you know they do not currently offer it. But they do offer Sunrise Yoga in Disneyland Park on select mornings. If that interests you, you can also check availability through Tenaya Stone Spa.
I hope this was helpful, Jennifer. Before I let you go, I did want to share that these are not the only two fitness options available to you. Currently, Awakening Yoga, Yoga in the Redwood Creek, Grizzly Peak Fitness Camp, Pixar Pier Fitness Challenge, Cars Land Lightning Drills, and Adventure Boot Camp are also offered inside Disney California Adventure Park. These, and so many more options, are available to Guests who like to add a little pixie-dusted twist to their fitness. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
