I saw someone post about the "pick a pearl" activity on here, but can you please give any more activities such as this that would be fun and unique for my 5 year old. We will be visiting MK, AK, and Epcot in June 2013.

There are some great activities for your little one at Walt Disney World. I recently had a great experience at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. At the outdoor animal viewing area outside two friendly cast members who were from Africa offered the small girl in our group a chance to help locate a 'missing' animal using radio waves. They proceeded to take her on an adventure learning about caring for animals and helping locate the lost Mickey Mouse doll. This awesome resort offers animal programs with up close encounters with exotic animals that are sure to delight the entire family. Just ask at the front desk for a current schedule of educational activities. They are a really great fun experience as you explore my new favorite hotel. Another fun idea would be the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. This magical journey begins at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Before you head out into the moonlit evening, you're presented with a spread of beverages and snacks that includes fruit, popcorn and other scrumptious confections in a whimsical pirate-themed setting. Then you will be regaled by stories and tunes by a real pirate before you watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks. I hope these give you some good ideas. Have a magical vacation at the Happiest Place on Earth. See you at the parks.
