Ahoy there, Stacie! Welcome to planDisney!
Your family is going to have such a magical time on your Disney cruise! One of my favorite things about Disney Cruise Line is how well-thought-out all of the spaces and activities are, ensuring that there’s truly something on board for everyone, including the littlest cruisers. Your baby will be in “it’s a small world” nursery! if they’re ever checked into the Youth Club on board. I would love to share the procedures and guidelines for making requests in
“it’s a small world” nursery! The best way to state any requests for the Youth Clubs on board will be through the Online Check-In form. About a month before your sail date, depending on your
Castaway Club status, you will be required to complete an Online Check-In regarding your reservation, either on the Disney Cruise Line website or the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. One section of this form is regarding any children who will be checked into Youth Clubs. In that section, there will be a spot where requests can be made or notes can be left for the Youth Counselors. While I can confirm that they will read it, as it will be noted on your reservation, I cannot confirm or guarantee that it will be granted, as requests are never guaranteed. This comes from my experience leaving many notes over the years for my own kids.
I also highly suggest speaking with the Youth Counselors at “it’s a small world” nursery! on the day you embark on your cruise during
Open House hours. Meeting with them will help quell any worries you might have, and you may discuss your requests in person.
Just in case you would like to visit and play with her, each day of your cruise offers Open House hours for each Youth Club. You can find the times for Open House and the corresponding Youth Club, including "it's a small world" nursery! on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App.
I also want to advise you to check out all the great
amenities on board for babies. Besides a secure nursery, Disney Cruise Line also offers bottle warmers, diaper genies, Pack n Play's for sleep, mashed baby food in the Main Dining restaurants, and a limited supply of
baby items for sale, should you need them! These amenities always helped me feel like I was a “better prepared mama” when cruising with my babies on Captain Mickey’s boat! Requests for these items can be made on the Disney Cruise Line website or in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App by completing the "Special Requests" form.
Stacie, I hope I was able to offer guidance. I wish your family the most beautiful memories on board your cruise! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any other questions.
Bon Voyage,
Rana
