I saw on another site that there are dates that Disney offers the Disney Dinning package for free depending when you book your vacation..has anyone ever done this and when do they typically have the special

    Hi Michelle,

I see you're busy planning your vacation, over a year away! Just like me! I'm already planning for 2017 and 2018!

The Disney Dining Plans are great and my family loves them. We get to leave home our worries about meal budgets, and all we worry about is which restaurants to choose. So many awesome options! And if it's free, that's swell!

In years past, the fall season has brought some super-duper Special Offers including a free Disney Dining Plan when you stay at select Disney Resort Hotels. They've typically become available in the spring. A stay at select value resorts would net you a free Quick-Service Dining Plan, whereas a stay at select moderate, deluxe, or deluxe villa Resort Hotel would give you a free Disney Dining Plan.

Our friends at mousesavers.com keep a comprehensive list of historical discounts, so you may want to check them out for more details. Of course, "impossible to see the future is." Only Mickey knows what he has in store for next year.

One last tip: keep checking the site for Special Offers, but feel free to book your dining reservations up to 180 days in advance. The easiest way is via the My Disney Experience mobile app. See you real soon!
