Hi there, Samantha!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am glad you found us while planning your Disney Cruise Line vacation! Sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey is a fantastic adventure with so many things to do and places to see!
When your ship arrives at the different ports of call on your itinerary, you will be asked to take a form of government-issued photo identification as well as your Key to the World card to disembark the ship. They will both be needed upon reentering the ship later that day. If you do not currently have any other form of photo identification, you will need to take your passport with you. I recommend confirming that you have the
proper documentation necessary for your specific itinerary as requirements are always subject to change.
As you prepare for your upcoming sailing, be sure to look at the excursions offered through Port Adventures for the ports you will be visiting. The Port Adventures team makes it an easy process to book and enjoy the sights onshore! Also, when your Online Check-In window opens, be prepared to reserve any onboard activities that require reservations or complimentary tickets such as Character breakfasts or Character Meet and Greets.
Also, the
Navigator app will have a ton of information for you during your sailing, so I suggest having that downloaded to your smartphone for onboard access. It also features a fun chat feature that you can use to communicate with other Guests onboard.
I know you will have an amazing time at sea and I wish you many magical memories. If you have any additional questions as your planning continues, please come back!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
