I saw the renderings and updates about the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and I'm crossing my fingers that it will open prior/when my family vacation there in 4/14, but is there any word on what age ranges this ride will be appropriate for?

    Hi Carrie!

I am a coaster fanatic and I am super excited about the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train coming to Fantasyland! I have been taking pictures of the progress each time I visit the Magic Kingdom and I love to see how its coming along.

The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is going to be a family coaster.  The Disney Parks Blog featured an article with a video that shows you the main lift and drop but the thing I am most excited about is the swinging mine cars. How cool is that going to be?! From what I've seen in person behind (there are sections where you can peek through the construction walls) and above the construction walls, it looks like the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train may be somewhere between the Barnstormer and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

They haven't released a lot of the details on the ride as far as height requirements or length of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train yet.  Keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for updates. You can subscribe to their daily emails so that you'll be notified of new blog posts with all the latest exciting news.  Of course, you're always welcome to check back with us.

I'll keep my fingers crossed you that its open for your visit in April!  Until then, please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We're hEAR to help!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
