Saw u rec. char break on departing day. Was thinking of leaving that day free to get chance to finish up any last minute park act. that we didn't get a chance to do earlier. Do u think I should reconsider this? I prefer lunch- flight leaves at 7.30p. Thnx.

Hi, Sirenya!    A character breakfast on your last vacation day is a great way to end your WDW trip.   However, if you have the time and tickets to head to a theme park, Go For It!   We usually opt for a flight earlier in the day, so we don't have the time to travel into a theme park, but we do try to squeeze in that last meal if we can!

If your flight is at 7:30 p.m. and you are using the Magical Express transportation, you can expect you will need to be ready to leave your resort by 4:30 p.m. (your scheduled time is usually 3 hours prior to your flight.)   If you have a rental car, plan to leave the theme parks 3 hours prior to your flight to allow time to put gas in your rental, return the car, and get through airport security (lines at security at the Orlando Airport can get a bit long!)  Leave enough time so you do not find yourself rushing around.

Have fun planning your Disney vacation, and enjoy every last minute of it!
