I saw another question about a split-resort stay. Loving this idea! So many resorts Id love to try! Staying at ASMo 4 nights. Would you recommend splurging on deluxe resort for first or last night? If u could stay anywhere in Disney for one night, where??

    Hi Jessica,

Splitting resorts is a great idea! You get the best of both worlds, and bell services will even move your bags for you.

I recommend staying at the value resort first and then moving up to a deluxe resort at the end of your vacation. As far as which resort to stay at, that's a tough one. There are some great deluxe resorts! I love a tower room with a castle view at the Contemporary, but Beach Club is one of my favorite resorts ever. I'm not sure how big your family is, but if a room for 4 is big enough Animal Kingdom Lodge with a savannah view is a real treat too.  If you really want to splurge, stay club level. That's definitely a treat!

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
