I saw a 2010 post saying that a taxi from the airport was $60. Is that what I can expect March 2013? We're excited about going straight to our resort without the bus stops. I'm trying to figure out my tip envelopes before we go. Any tipping advice for me?

    Hi Jill,

You must be excited now that your Disney vacation is so close!

According to the website for Orlando International Airport, the cab fare to the Walt Disney World area remains about $60. The trip should take you about 20 minutes, depending on traffic and the location of your resort.

Organizing tip envelopes in advance is a trick I learned from my fellow Moms Panel friends. It is so much easier than looking for cash each day to tip the housekeeping staff. The consensus seems to be that a gratuity of $1 per person per day is a nice acknowledgment of the hard work by the cleaning staff.

I hope that helps. Enjoy your visit!
