Ahoy there, Lori! I am happy to provide you with more details as you get ready for your magical vacation on Disney Cruise Line.
You can bring as many unopened non-alcoholic beverages, such as unopened water and soda, as you want, but they must be brought on the ship in your carry-on bag. You cannot place the cans or bottles in your checked luggage. Your carry-on bag must fit through the security scanner and be no larger than 22 inches high, 14 inches wide, and 9 inches deep. I suggest using a roller bag because you will be responsible for carrying this bag with you until your stateroom is ready.
You mentioned beer, and I wasn't sure if you were referring to non-alcoholic beer, so I wanted to share the
Alcohol Policy as well. It states that Guests ages 21 years of age and older can bring a maximum of 2 sealed bottles of wine or champagne (no more than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no more than 12 ounces) onboard. They must also be in your carry-on bags.
If you do not feel like bringing these items on board, they can be purchased onboard! Water can be purchased through
Onboard Gifts before your cruise starts and will be waiting for you in your stateroom. My family and I usually purchase water in advance because it's one less thing we need to worry about. You can purchase bottles at any of the bars once onboard as well. There are even some deals that include a Disney Cruise Line cooler (based on availability). Sodas are available at the drink stations. If you order a can or bottle of soda with room service, there will be a charge, though.
Lori, if you have any other questions before you sail away, sail back to
planDisney. We are happy to help.
Bon Voyage!
