I saw a plandisney answer with all of the songs and timestamps for Epcot forever, can I request one for Luminous with each of the songs and how long each segment is exactly? I want to time it just right

Hi there Jess, and welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you're referring to one of the answers I researched for someone who wanted to propose during one of EPCOT's previous nighttime spectacular, and I definitely hope that fellow fireworks fans like yourself found it useful! Just this week I had the opportunity to watch the debut of Luminous the Symphony of Us and took advantage of several sneak peeks ahead of the show to dive into some of the music you'll hear (including composer Pinar Toprak's incredible score) along with the general theme described by the narration between each segment:

    • (WELCOME 0:00 - 2:00) Luminous the Symphony of Us opens with the sound of drumming as the torches around EPCOT World Showcase Lagoon go out, with a single burst of pyrotechnics from the central barges. This is followed by a launch from each of the pavilions as "Welcome" is spoken in the languages of each  represented nation culminating with the cannons firing towards the center of the lagoon where the fountains illuminate and grow.
    • (OPENING 2:00 - 4:30) A chorus of voices building to a crescendo leads into the new original song, "Heartbeat Symphony" as this segment features a slow build of fireworks alongside the fountains.
    • (BIRTH 4:31 - 6:30) "You'll be in my Heart" from Tarzan is layered in several languages and ends with the sound of a baby echoing across EPCOT.
    • (FAMILY 6:31 - 7:30) The show continues with the sound of laughter as "Proud Corazón" from Coco is played with a main focus on the instrumentals.
    • (FRIENDSHIP 7:31 - 8:45) This lively segment features jazzy orchestral versions of "You've Got a Friend in Me" and "Friend Like Me" from Toy Story and Aladdin, in an upbeat medley with more fireworks and colorful jets of water.
    • (LOVE 8:46 - 11:00) Opening with a bit of "Can You Feel the Love Tonight", this is a very romantic segment set to "So Close" from Enchanted, where I observed many couples holding each other tight and dancing to the music.
    • (LOSS 11:01 - 12:00) A much more subdued section of the show featuring the fountains begins with "When She Loved Me" from Toy Story 2, before blending with Coco's "Remember Me", which definitely left quite a few folks around in tears.
    • (CLOSING 12:01 - 17:00) The fireworks return with "Into the Unknown" from Frozen 2 and Tangled's "I See the Light" before the show ends to the sound of another original song, "Beating of Our Hearts" in an uplifting finale that includes heart-shaped bursts and the largest pyrotechnics over the World Showcase Lagoon at the very end.
Keep an ear out for some musical nods to the previous show, Harmonious as well as acoustic covers played after Luminous The Symphony of Us finishes that include a rendition of "One Little Spark"! You'll also be interested to hear that with the recent debut of this show, there aren't any screens nor projections to view so folks and families all had great vantage points whether they were closer or farther from the water. I hope that you enjoy the show on your upcoming visit, and come back again to planDisney soon for any other fun entertainment offerings for me to research and report back on!

May your EPCOT evening be absolutely luminous!
