Hello, Garrett, and welcome to planDisney! You are in for a delightful stay at the
Pixar Place Hotel. My son and I adored the whimsical artistry on our recent visit, and the chance to hear Joe Gardner from "Soul" tickling the ivories in the lobby is a magical moment, for sure.
You are correct that the Pixar Place Hotel
pool deck will be closed beginning on February 3, 2025. I spoke with a friendly Cast Member at the Front Desk who informed me that the annual renovation is estimated to last around one month, but the length of the closure is subject to change, so no guarantees either way!
Unfortunately, given that timeline, it's highly likely the Pixar Place Hotel pool will still be unavailable during your visit. But don't fear, Garrett, if the pool is still closed during your stay, Guests are provided access to the neighboring
pools at the Disneyland Hotel - featuring a Steamboat Willie splash pad and two Monorail-themed waterslides! You will not feel like you've missed out on the fun, at all! The Cast Member I spoke to also mentioned the possibility of access to the Grand Californian Hotel pools, as well, during your stay! So nice! Ask at the Front Desk when you check in for your options, and what may be available.
And more good news! You'll still be able to view the Disneyland fireworks from the Pixar Place Hotel third-floor pool deck on selected nights, with live synchronized broadcast of the soundtrack! What a treat!
I truly hope you have the most magical visit, Garrett. And say "hi" to Bing Bong for me!
Your pal,
McCayla
