Jennifer from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I saw pictures of lines extending for miles to get into Disneyland yesterday and I'm concerned since I have a pregnant daughter and disabled husband and we have reservations to visit next week. Please advise we planned to arrive when open

    Hey Jennifer!

    Welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited for your trip in a few days to the Happiest Place on Earth! The Magic is back and I am so glad the parks are open. I hope you have plans to visit Avengers Campus inside Disney California Adventure Park. This new immersive land offers dining, attractions, and entertainment for the whole family. You can catch your favorite superheroes in action at Avengers Headquarters and there are many shows throughout the day.

I think I know what you are referring to with the lines to get in. I saw some videos as well and I can see why you are concerned. I think what happened is that some guests thought that the theme parks were back to “normal” starting June 15th when a lot of restrictions went away here in California and they expected to be able to show up, purchase a ticket and enter the theme parks.

I can assure you that the Disneyland Resort is still managing attendance with the theme park reservation system. I was there all of last week and the crowds were manageable. I could definitely feel the difference from the crowds on my visit before June 15th but with the exception of Radiator Springs Racers, I experienced wait times anywhere from 5 to 40 minutes at the longest. On the weekend, I was able to walk right into Avengers Campus throughout the day without waiting in line.  I recommend you get to the Disneyland Resort early so that you have enough time to park and get through security so you can maximize your day.

Well Jennifer, I hope you have the Best Day Ever!

Remember, always  believe in the Magic!
