Hey there, Amber! Welcome to planDisney! I like to think that there’s never a bad time to plan a visit to Walt Disney World Resort. So I’m really excited that you’ve stopped by with your question! Right now the
50th Anniversary Celebration is in full swing and I hope that you get a chance to see Cinderella Castle in all her celebration glory! If you happen to make it down during The Worlds Most Magical Celebration, be sure to hang around
Magic Kingdom Park to view the
Disney Enchantment Nighttime spectacular! It is the best way to end any magical day in the Theme Parks.
When you book a Walt Disney World Vacation Package with a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay and Theme Park Tickets, you are only required to pay a deposit at the time of booking. The current deposit amount is $200, and the remaining balance is due 30 days before your arrival. You get all the time between your booking date and the remaining balance due date to make payments as you wish!
While it’s not necessarily a payment plan, you can surely treat it like one! My family has taken advantage of this in the past by booking our vacation package and paying some each month as our budget allows. It has definitely made the cost more manageable for us. We also like to use Disney Gift Cards for our in-park spending to help us stay on budget. We ask our family and friends to gift the kids Disney Gift Cards in place of presents for celebrations throughout the year. Then, we split them up and allow the kids to buy their own snacks and merchandise throughout our vacation. Hey, you paid for the trip: let them get a taste of adulting so that they will appreciate the magic so much more! Well, at least that’s what I tell myself.
I hope this helps, Amber. If you have more questions as you plan, stop back by and
ask me.
To Infinity and Beyond,
PG
