I saw new bounce back offers were announced for deluxe resort guest for DCL cruises. How will we book those rooms after we check out?

    Ahoy there, Christopher!

Welcome back to planDisney! It sounds like you may have a Walt Disney World stay in your future and are hoping to take advantage of this new offer. Pairing a Deluxe Resort stay with a future Disney cruise is the kind of vacation combo that feels a bit like when two Disney stories cross paths—suddenly the adventure just gets bigger.

The way this offer currently works is the day after you check out of your Walt Disney World Deluxe Resort, you should receive an email with all of the promotional details explaining how to book and when the offer will expire. As of today, the offer is valid for seven days, and you can book up to two staterooms by calling Disney Cruise Line directly or reaching out to your travel agent if you are working with one.

In other words, once you’ve waved goodbye to the resort and headed home, keep an eye on your inbox. That email is essentially your invitation to continue the adventure, just trading park maps for a cruise itinerary.

I’m thinking you may have already looked through the fine print on the offer page, but just in case, here are a few of the key details worth keeping in mind:
    • You can book up to two staterooms per household, but at least one Guest must be from the original Walt Disney World Resort reservation.
    • The offer cannot be applied to an existing cruise reservation.
    • Concierge staterooms and suites are currently excluded.
    • Your cruise must sail within 24 months of your Walt Disney World check-out date.

One quick tip: If you know you might want to use the offer, it’s helpful to have a few possible sailings in mind before that email arrives. Since the offer window is only a week, having a rough idea of dates, ships, or itineraries you’re interested in can make the booking process smoother once you call.

I hope this helps as you plan out your next adventure. Going from a Deluxe Resort stay to a Disney cruise feels a little like jumping from one chapter of the story straight into the sequel—same magic, just with a lot more ocean views.

Sea ya real soon as springtime magic begins to ripple across the water,
