Hi there, Diana. Welcome to planDisney.
I’m delighted to see you’re planning a trip to the
Happiest Place on Earth really soon, but I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with purchasing your tickets and securing theme park reservations. The weekends are popular days to visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks and many dates are sold out. With the theme park reservations system, Guests can make
theme park reservations up to 120 days in advance. People’s vacation plans can change, and cancelations do happen. I’d recommend checking periodically to see if the date you wish to visit opens. Unfortunately, this could mean last minute cancellations which may not be helpful in your situation.
There’s no guarantee for same day park entry if you purchase your theme park tickets when you arrive. Diana, based on the information provided, it appears you currently reside in Texas. It would be a bummer for you to come all the way to the Disneyland Resort to be told at the Main Entrance ticket booth that the day is completely booked. Even when you purchase tickets at the ticket booth, you’ll still have to link them to your
Disneyland mobile app to make theme park reservations prior to entry. The safest bet would be to make a
theme park reservation for a day that is available; that way, you’ll be confirmed and guaranteed the opportunity to experience the pixie-dusted magic!
I wish you the best of luck! If you have further trip-planning questions for us, please
write us again. We’re all EARS!
See ya real soon,
Kiki
