My absolute favorite place to hear live piano music is in the lobby of
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. The acoustics of that grand space combined with the elegant decor make me feel as if I'm a star in my own Victorian movie. The daily performance schedule is
available online, and I encourage you to come early and/or stay late to meet and greet the pianist. I must tell you it's not common practice for Guests to play the piano, which is locked down in between performances, but I've also learned to never underestimate the power of Disney magic. Tell the pianist your story of inspiration and the dream your heart makes, and perhaps your wish to play a song will come true! Or perhaps you'll be able to make a song request and recreate your magical memory. The power of music meets the power of Disney magic - I get chills just thinking about it!
