Hiya Meaghan,
Welcome back to planDisney! Fun fact,
Disney’s Coronado Springs was the first Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel I ever stayed in. It holds a special place in my heart, so I am excited to answer your question today.
The Gran Destino Tower had not been built during my first visit, but it is absolutely stunning. The Spanish-influenced décor is genuinely breathtaking, and I’ve heard that from the moment you walk in, you feel a sense of calm. I spoke to a Cast Member, and they let me know that due to Fire safety codes, the rooms in Gran Destino Tower are not able to accommodate rollaway beds. If you need the extra sleeping space but would like to stay at Disney’s Coronado Springs, your next best option would be to reach out to Walt Disney World Resort Hotel reservations (407-939-1936) and reserve a different room. Some options that might work include a
one-bedroom Casita in Disney’s Coronado Springs or a Presidential Suite at Gran Destino Tower for your resort stay. Both options can sleep up to six adults (the Casitas have two queen beds and a queen-size sleeper sofa, and the Presential Suite has a king bed and two queen beds)! If none of these options are suitable, then definitely reach out to Walt Disney World Hotel Reservations to inquire about which
Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel would best suit you and your family’s travel needs. These magical Cast Members will help you find the accommodations of your dreams that fits within your budget and travel dates.
I hope you have a magical day, and please come back and see us if there is anything we can do to help!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
