I just saw information on PO French Quarter. Has anyone stayed there & what can you tell me about it? It look great. I love the smaller size. Would it be ok for kids? Thanks!

We have stayed at the Port Orleans French Quarter several times. The New Orleans at Mardi Gras theme is playful and fun. It is a small, quaint resort.

I love strolling the quaint streets which have amusing names such as Beaux Regards Rue D‘ Baga. The street lamps, walkways, gardens and fountains are charming. It’s not unusual to come across ducks and rabbits in your path.  Registration, Guest Services and the store are conveniently located to most of the buildings.

There is a single bus stop for boarding the buses. The bus station is covered and also provides benches for weary travelers. When we’ve had our own car, the parking lot was very convenient to our building.

Our family enjoys walking the path that follows along the Sassagoula River to Port Orleans Riverside. The water transportation to Downtown Disney is a relaxing way to travel. French Quarter Landing welcomes you back after your adventure.

The pool is a nice size with fun amusements for smaller children. At the Doubloon Lagoon pool, King Triton sits atop his sea serpent, Scales. The sea serpent slide offers a smooth, gentle slope.

    It's truly a gem!
