    I saw a FB comment that said DVC members get gifts on cruises. We paid cash, did not use points, do we qualify for anything on our upcoming Dream cruise?

    Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for stopping by with your question.  Can you believe you're just a week away from embarking on your high-seas adventure with Disney Cruise Line?  You must be getting so excited!  A Disney Cruise Line sailing is still waiting on my Disney Wish List, but after seeing the photos and videos of our resident cruise experts, Adrianna H. and Andrew H., as they explored the Disney Wish, I'm more excited than ever to set sail.  So I hope you're ready for all the adventure that's heading your way aboard the Disney Dream –– I think you're in for an incredible time!

    Since I haven't gotten to experience the magic of Disney Cruise Line for myself yet, a reached out to a few cruising enthusiasts I know, who also happen to be Disney Vacation Club Members, to find all the scoop for you about onboard gifts.  What I learned is that once you board, you'll typically receive a Disney Vacation Club magnet on your stateroom door.  And while you may not find other in-room Member surprises waiting for you, don't repair –– I also got a great tip for scoring some DVC swag.  All you'll need to do is stop by the Disney Vacation Club Information Desk onboard the ship and the DVC Cast Members will usually have some great gifts available, like backpacks, lanyards, and even hats.  You can even stop by each day to collect a few different items throughout your stay –– how cool is that?!

    Now, if the social media post you saw was talking about some larger DVC onboard gifts, there's a great chance that it was referring to a Disney Vacation Club Member Cruise.  On these special, Member-only sailings, you'll enjoy special surprises delivered directly to your stateroom throughout your cruise, as well as exclusive experiences and entertainment on board.  Booking for the 2023 DVC Member Cruise aboard the Disney Wish is already open, so if you're interested in one of these special sailings, I recommend booking soon –– stateroom availability is filling up very quickly.  For all the latest details, including booking information, be sure to visit the Disney Vacation Club website.
