Hello there, Katie! Thanks for cruising on over to planDisney with your question. Welcome!
You ask a great question! I'm happy to share that video games are available to play free of charge in the youth spaces onboard. Once upon a time, there was an arcade onboard Disney Cruise Line, but that's no longer the case. If you have children in your sailing group, they'll be able to enjoy a variety of video games and game consoles in the areas just for them.
The biggest video game selection is reserved for tweens and teens on the ship. You'll find these in
Edge (for 11-14-year-olds) and
Vibe (for 14-17-year-old cruisers). You'll also see some video games to play in
Disney's Oceaneer Club or
Lab for kids between the ages of 3-12. My son is a tween and he LOVES to hang out in Edge and play video games. It's a great place for him to make friends.
One tip I love to share with guests is to visit the youth spaces during
Open House times. This is when guests of any age can enjoy these typically youth-exclusive hangouts. My husband likes to go with my son during an Open House so that they can play some video games together.
I hope that information is welcome news as you plan for your upcoming voyage. There is SO MUCH fun to have onboard, so have a great time exploring!
