We just saw that Fantasmic will be playing our first night (1/8). We're planning on spending the first day at MK and taking advantage of EMH. How long does it take to go from MK to HS and back again after the show? What's the best way to do this?

    Hi Lauren!

In general, I would plan on it taking about 45 minutes to go back and forth to Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Buses typically run about every 20 minutes at Walt Disney World and it's about a 15 minute trip once you are on the bus to get to the Studios.  You will pick up the bus just outside the Magic Kingdom.

If you are worried about getting back to the Magic Kingdom a little faster after watching Fantasmic, you might consider a taxi.  You will generally see a lot of taxis lined up just beyond the bus stops at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Fantasmic is a wonderful show and my favorite nighttime spectacular at Walt Disney World.  Enjoy!
