I saw a riverboat/restaurant in Downtown Disney last time I was there. What is the name of that? Or do you have a recommendation for a nice place for my parents to eat dinner b/f the Cirque show? Can I pay for their dinner in advance (anniversary gift)?

    Hello again Amy!

The restaurant you are thinking of is Fulton's Crab House.  If your parents enjoy seafood, then I think this is a perfect choice for them!  An alternate restaurant you may want to look into is the House of Blues.  You can view the menus for both restaurants in the MENUS section on allears.net.

As far as paying for the dinner in advance, you mentioned in your other question that you and your sister are surprising your parents with the trip.  You may want to consider adding the dining plan to the vacation package.  I'm not sure when you plan on visiting but Disney is currently offering free dining for most nights 8/16/2009-10/3/2009 if the vacation is a minimum of 3 nights.

Please note you can call for your dining reservations up to 90 days prior to your parents check-in date by calling Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463).  I would recommend calling as close to the 90 day mark as possible so you can get the time you desire to leave plenty of time for the show.

Amy, it sounds like you are off to an excellent start with plans for your parents anniversary.  Please let us know if you have further questions!  Diane  :)
