Hey Jayda!
Welcome to
planDisney!
I see you have been keeping up with all of the theme park news for the Disneyland Resort! As you may already know, new guidance was provided for the larger California theme parks like the Disneyland Resort. With these new guidelines, the parks should be eligible to reopen in a few weeks. There has not been an official reopening date set yet but Disney Management announced that Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park should be open by late April.
As you mentioned, there will be certain restrictions with the reopening of the parks. The new guidelines do state that theme parks guests will be limited to California residents. The Disneyland Resort has not officially addressed this portion of the guidelines and it is unknown who will be able to purchase tickets for the parks. In the past when proof of residency was required for purchasing tickets, you had to have a valid Government issued ID or Driver’s License that fell into the requirements for purchasing tickets. If this continues when new ticket sales begin, you would not be able to use your Colorado Driver’s License.
Well Jayda, because all of the details have not been released yet I encourage you to check in with us at a later time or keep in touch with the
Disney Parks Blog as they will release an official statement soon.
Remember, always believe in the Magic!
