Hi there, Brooklynn!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to be heading on the Disney Dream!! I know you are anxiously awaiting your adventure at sea and before you know it, you will be on your way to fun in the sun!
The Disney Cruise Line
Navigator app comes in handy while onboard. You can access a variety of things on it including a detailed schedule of activities and entertainment. It also includes my favorite feature - a messaging feature which I find to be incredibly helpful while onboard because my husband and I can keep up with one another’s whereabouts if we happen to split up. It utilizes the ship’s Wi-Fi, so it doesn’t use any of your data plan and we don’t have access to the “outside world”. We still get to officially “unplug” from everyday life while still having access to some great information! Plus, I like to have my phone handy for quick photo opportunities because there are so many moments I want to capture!
If you opt to not use the Navigator app, that is totally fine! Each evening you will receive a Daily Navigator in your stateroom for the following day. The Navigator is a printed schedule of events that you can use to plan your day. It also includes a list of operating hours for restaurants, lounges and youth clubs. So, you definitely have access to the information without utilizing the app. As much as I love the convenience of the app, I also LOVE highlighting things on the paper copy while planning for the next day!
I am so excited for your
DREAM vacation – there is so much to see and experience onboard and you are guaranteed to have an amazing vacation.
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
