    Just saw Disney Cruise Line cancelled ALL cruises through August 2021, What is going to happen to reservation used for members this YEAR. 2ND year in roll. I understand safety due to Covid, but still frustrating. Miss ALL the goodies we get on members crui

    Hi Denise!

    Well, ahoy there! We’re thrilled to have you join us for the first time at planDisney. Your Disney Vacation Club Member Cruise sounds like an excellent way to combine an adventure at sea with all the extras you have come to love about your membership! So I totally understand why you want your reservation to remain intact and to be able to make all those CORE MEMORIES on your Disney sailing.

    Currently, departures for Disney Cruise Line have been suspended through May 2021 along with the Disney Magic sailings departing from Barcelona, Civitavecchia and Dover through August 10, 2021. I haven’t seen any official announcement about cancellations through the end of August other than for these Disney Magic European sailings. If your cruise did get cancelled in the future, either or your Travel Agent would get notified of that fact.  

    I know the rumor mill likes to get in full swing when changes are made to the Disney Cruise Line website. Then everyone gets turned INSIDE OUT, not knowing what to think. But until you hear something from Captain Mickey himself, your itinerary is still on the books. I’ve had two cruises cancelled during the past year, so I am with you when it comes to anticipating a voyage so much and then feeling SADNESS when it cannot be. But I am also confident that when I do get to return to sailing, it will be something I cherish all the more because of its absence in my life. So let’s be optimistic buddies together and look forward to the future of Disney cruises because they WILL happen.  

    Speaking of the JOY of cruising, have you been following the news about the Disney Wish? The newest ship in the Disney fleet is scheduled to set sail in Summer 2022. After watching the video rendering of the ship’s Grand Hall, I cannot wait to see it in person and take photos with that amazing Cinderella statue. Be one of the first Guests to receive information about the Disney Wish by submitting your email address, and Disney Cruise Line will email you updates.
