Hi, I just saw the "Characters in Flight" balloon ride advertised. DO you know anything about it? Thanks

    Hi Jill!

The Characters in Flight experience is a great way to see what a hot air balloon ride would be like while still tethered to the ground. I know that with my fear of heights I would never be brave enough to try the real thing!

The balloon is located in Downtown Disney and goes as high as 400 feet into the air. You can get a wonderful 360 degree view of your surroundings.

You can purchase tickets at the balloon - current prices are $16 for adults and $10 for children ages 3-9. Operation hours are from 9 am to midnight - weather permitting. The balloon will not operate during periods of high winds or rain.

To see the balloon in action check out Disney Mom Cathy and her family giving it a try on their recent vacation. Click HERE to visit the video page on the Moms Panel site and select the "Characters in Flight" video to see more! It looks like so much fun, and I can't wait to try it next month on my vacation!
