I saw that the California Grill LOUNGE is first come. Does that mean bar-top seating, love seats, upholstered chairs? How many seats in the lounge? How much time do you recommend before the fireworks to get a seat? Other viewing options without dining?

    Hi Karen!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The California Grill Lounge has one of the best views on property for viewing the Happily Ever After fireworks display at Magic Kingdom Park. The ambience of the entire restaurant is amazing and definitely a treat for any Guest.

The lounge actually consists of different areas with a few booth seats, some upholstered chairs with small tables and a bar area. Many people with California Grill reservations use the lounge as they wait for their table, while others come specifically for the lounge and bar. You can order sushi, drinks, appetizers and the full California Grill menu while in the lounge.

I would suggest getting there a couple of hours prior to the fireworks to get a seat. But, keep in mind that if you order food or drinks from the lounge earlier in the evening and save your receipt, you can go back up to watch the fireworks on the restaurant's observation deck. Now that is a great view!

Another fun place to watch the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks is on the beach area of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
