I saw in a brochure recently that adults can do "culinary workshops" on board the ship. What does this entail? I know there are drink classes at an additional fee, but are there free programs you can also take?

    Welcome aboard, Jennifer!

The different activities onboard offers guests a simple way to gain knowledge and have fun at the same time. My husband and I have always enjoyed the various workshops and demonstrations onboard. They do change on a regular basis, so make sure you check the Personal Navigator each day, so as not to miss any of the interesting activities that are planned. If you'd like to sign up for any activities, you can do so by visiting the Guest Services desk. Remember that most of these activities have limited seating available. These will be on a first come first served basis.

Besides the many beverage tastings that are offered for an additional fee, there are also some culinary demonstrations that happen at scheduled times. On our cruise last year, my husband and I enjoyed learning how to make and serve salmon. It was a yummy treat - and it was a complimentary demonstration. There are new tastings and culinary experiences available that will cost an extra fee. This includes the newest, Remy Dessert experience

I hope you get a chance to participate in these demonstrations - they are loads of fun!

    Happy planning!
